The new AssetTrack Charge: the rechargeable GPS tracker with 7 years per charge. Recharge it. Redeploy it. Repeat.

The lifespan on this tracker is renewable. AssetTrack Charge is a rugged, rechargeable GPS tracker for big, long-lived assets — up to 7 years of battery per charge at one report per day, in the same magnetic IP67 case as our 10-year AssetTrack. When the battery finally runs low, you don't buy a replacement. You plug it in and reset the clock.

It tracks over 4G LTE with WiFi positioning indoors, reads nearby AssetTags (BLE) for even sharper indoor precision, and when something walks off, flips to continuous reporting — a fresh GPS fix as fast as every minute — from the GPX platform, from anywhere. Most customers recover stolen assets in under 8 hours.

How it works

Seven years per charge. Then reset the clock and go again.

AssetTrack Charge reports over 4G LTE (Cat-M1 / NB-IoT) with WiFi positioning where GPS can't see — basements, parking decks, warehouses. One fix a day stretches a single charge up to 7 years, and a low-power alert tells you long before it matters. Then, instead of buying a battery, you plug the tracker in and put the same hardware back on watch.

Standout features

Built for the long haul. And then the next one.

01

Up to 7 years per charge

At one GPS report per day, the rechargeable 12 Ah battery runs up to 7 years — no replacement battery to buy, stock, or install. Plug it in, reset the clock, and redeploy.

02

Reporting modes you control

Scheduled reports every 24, 12, or 6 hours, or hourly — change it remotely from the GPX platform any time. No ladder, no site visit.

03

Continuous recovery mode

For emergency tracking, switch to a fresh GPS fix as fast as every minute and follow a stolen asset live. Recoveries typically land in under 8 hours.

04

Reads AssetTags (BLE)

Over Bluetooth 5.1, it hears nearby AssetTags — turning every AssetTrack Charge into a roaming gateway that sharpens indoor precision across your fleet.

05

Indoor & outdoor coverage

WiFi positioning fills in where GPS can't see — basements, parking decks, hospitals, warehouses — so location holds indoors and out.

06

Reliable 4G LTE coverage

Reports over 4G LTE (Cat-M1 / NB-IoT) across the United States, Canada, and Mexico — exceptional reliability, even in remote areas.

07

Magnetic install, anti-tamper

The internal magnet snaps to steel in seconds; optional flange mounting handles the rest. If someone pulls the tracker off, an alert fires immediately.

08

Scout AI on watch

Scout AI geofences every site in seconds — a low-power tracker becomes an alarm system that flags the moment an asset leaves the yard.

Is AssetTrack Charge the right device?

Perfect for assets that outlive their batteries. For everything else, we've got you.

AssetTrack Charge is built for big, long-lived assets — heavy equipment, trailers, containers — where you'd rather recharge a tracker every several years than ever buy another battery. If your situation looks different, a sibling device fits better; they all report into the same GPX platform.

Questions & answers

The rechargeable long-life tracker, answered.

How long does the battery last?

The AssetTrack Charge is a long-term rechargeable asset tracker with up to 7 years of battery life on a single charge when set to a single location report every 24 hours. We also offer the AssetTrack — a non-rechargeable version with the same form and size that lasts up to 10 years on one battery at the same reporting rate.

How do I recharge the device?

A low-power alert tells you when the battery is running low — long before it matters. Take the tracker down, plug it in to recharge, and redeploy the same hardware with a full battery. There's no replacement battery to purchase, stock, or install, and at one report per day you'll only do this about once every seven years.

How frequently does the device report?

The AssetTrack Charge can be configured to report once every 24 hours, 12 hours, 6 hours, or hourly — configurable remotely from the GPX platform. For emergency tracking and theft recovery, continuous mode reports a fresh position as fast as every minute. Increasing the reporting frequency reduces battery life.

How do I install the device on my asset?

The AssetTrack Charge has a built-in magnetic case and mounts to any metallic surface in seconds — no tools, no wiring. For non-metallic assets, optional flange mounting screws down securely. An anti-tamper sensor alerts you if the device is removed.

What network does the device utilize?

The AssetTrack Charge reports over 4G LTE — Cat-M1 (eMTC) and Cat-NB2 (NB-IoT), the low-power LTE standards built for IoT devices — with EGPRS fallback. That means exceptional coverage across North America, even in remote areas.

Will this device work internationally?

The AssetTrack Charge works in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Will this device work indoors?

Yes — the AssetTrack Charge uses WiFi positioning for accurate indoor location visibility in basements, parking decks, and warehouses where GPS can't see. Additionally, its ability to read nearby AssetTags (BLE) provides even greater indoor tracking precision.

Can it help recover a stolen asset?

That's what continuous mode is for. Switch the tracker to a report as fast as every minute from the GPX platform, watch the asset move in near-real time, and hand the trail to law enforcement. Recoveries typically happen in under 8 hours.

Plug it in once every seven years. Track everything in between.

Tell us what you need to protect — we'll size the deployment and have trackers on assets within days.
