The new AssetTag is a bluetooth low-energy (BLE) asset tracker that can be used to track assets for 3-4 years. Featuring an interchangeable simple watch battery, its lifespan is nearly endless. It has a weatherproof enclosure that is rated IP67 (waterproof + dustproof).

Impressive Longevity
The AssetTrack battery will last up to 3-4 years. But, with a changeable, simple watch battery allows you to use the same device for a nearly endless amount of time across its lifespan. The location report frequency is dependent on nearby BLE-enabled AssetTrack reporting frequency, and you can change this from the GPX platform at any time.

How long does the battery last?
The AssetTag offers a replaceable watch battery, though it’ll last 3-4 years before you need to change it out.
How frequently does the device report?
The AssetTag does not report on its own, however when in range of a BLE-enabled AssetTrack device (80 ft), the location will be relayed. The AssetTrack can be configured to report once every 24 hours, once every 12 hours, once every 6 hours, or once an hour.
How do I install the device on my asset?
The AssetTag can be installed by sticker on the back of the device, or you can screw through the provided flanges for extra security.
Will this device work internationally?
The AssetTag will function wherever the BLE-enabled AssetTrack device will work. The AssetTrack works in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Will this device work indoors?
The AssetTag is brilliantly designed for precise indoor location, when paired with a BLE-enabled AssetTrack device. The AssetTrack device offers both GPS and wifi positioning for accurate indoor location visibility.
Is the battery on the device replaceable?
